Celebrating art in 2021

“ Does not hold water,”  installation alongside “Carriers of Culture “  exhibited in conjunction with IOTA21”  at Mossenson Gallery in Subiaco September - October 2021

The work,  my largest at 3m x 6 m , comprises 6 eco dyed silk panels embroidered with a motif of the river. In conversation are a collection of coil baskets made from hand spun black fleece, silk and linens.

The installation : seeded by intrigue with natural dyes and hand made vessels

My studio & glass workshop is developing some new work along the theme of River stories. I am working across several media with the view to bringing a unified collection together......always a challenge.

My first work in this series is the installation “ Does not hold water”
