This body of work explores the emotional layers we meet in the face of many challenging environmental changes of the contemporary world. Increasing the health, social and the emotional response to losing places, species or ecosystems that are important to us is being recongnised.
Disappearing: Act reminds us of how the magician creates a surprise recovery. The question in the work is “How we can create our own magic? “ in the face of these challenges.
The works encounters endangered species, “drought and flooding rains”, and concerns about balancing the increasing demand for resources and our need to conserve critical ecologies.
