This year marks the launch of WAMA’s online Salon des Refusés, created to recognize emerging and established artists who are deeply engaged with the natural world.
WAMA is Australia’s first space dedicated to the exploration of environmental art located in the Grampians in Victoria.
All those who have received a ‘dear artist’ letter know the disappointment of not making the cut in art competitions. So it was a different experience to be told many applicant’s work captured the imagination of the judges so the Salon de Refugé was established . I am delighted to have my work included.
I thank WAMA for making it possible for the Salon to offer these works for sale. I am sure I will not be alone in appreciating WAMA’s generous support to artists included. I am delighted to have my work listed.
