I am in the middle of planning for 2025 which will begin with a visit to Tasmania for a community engaged artist’s residency. There I will be learning more about a threatened environment and how the community there is working. I am also looking forward to learning more about Glass as Glass Artists come together to share about their work. Two different Tasmanian creative communities.
In preparation I have been thinking about ways that Glass artists collaborate with other artists and how artists and community come together .
This month I am featuring works glass works that use Frit (crushed glass) in the process: Frit drawing and vessels made from pâte de verre (paste of glass)
