Gallery hours:

  • Tuesday–Friday: 10:00am–4:00pm
  • Saturday: 12:00pm–5:00pm
  • Closed Sunday and Monday

My contribution:

Leschenaultia orchestris - Dancing Leschenaultia is only known from three populations distributed over of 3 km, north of Cascade, a small town between Ravensthorpe and Esperance in Western Australia’s Mallee bioregion. Colour and flower size are varied to suggest the increasing vulnerability of the species in the natural environment.

In WA alone there are 450 flora deemed threatened with 12 species have been identified as extinct. The national figures reflect the severity of this problem across the continent. A drying climate, habitat loss and land use all contribute.

Curiosity to discover more about our water stories, has led down many tracks in the steps of those who walked before me. Questions emerge not only about water but also how we respond to the land. My works ask for a renewed look at our landscape.

Join us to celebrate our many journeys together and to explore this new body of works.

This exhibition marks 50 years since my first Nullabor Crossing.

Opening Night August. 2 6 to 8 pm
